As per a report from eMarketer, holiday ecommerce sales in the US rose to $137.6 billion in 2019.
That’s a 13.2% growth.
In 2017 and 2018, the numbers were $109.2 billion and $121.5 billion respectively.
The report also predicts that e-commerce holiday sales will reach about $156.7 billion in 2020.
These numbers show the growing importance of e-commerce sales during the holiday shopping season.
Last year, for Adobe, 48% of revenue on Christmas Day came from smartphones.
