YouTube Monetization Options For Creators Get Some Loving!

With the new YouTube monetization options,
you will be able to increase your revenue on the platform.

This Thursday, the Company announced
expanded monetization options for creators.

Chief Product Officer Neal Mohan broke the word via a blog post.

Using the Super Chat feature, fans can purchase messages that
stand out within a live chat during live streams and Premieres.

Over 90,000 channels have received the Super Chat feature.

Some streams are making more than $400 per minute.

Super Stickers

This cool, new feature will allow fans to purchase
animated stickers during live streams and Premieres.

These Stickers will be are available in a
variety of designs across different languages.

Categories include gaming, fashion and beauty,
sports, music, food, and more. 

Channel Memberships

Do you want a unique badge or emojis?

Or maybe, you want special perks such as
exclusive live streams, extra videos, or shoutouts?

With membership levels, you will be able to get
all these for a monthly fee of $4.99.

Levels will also allow creators to set up to five different
price points for channel memberships.

The perks associated with each level will be different too.

What’s VidCon?

VidCon was founded by YouTube creator Hank Green.

Viacom acquired the service in 2018.

VidCon is now ten years old.

The platform is a hub for Gen Z.

VidCon is investing heavily on live streaming features
like Super Chat and membership tiers.

This diversification might be a strategy to
take on competitors like Amazon Twitch.

In fact, a closer look shows many of the features
on YouTube resemble the ones on Twitch.

Super Stickers, for example, resemble Bit Emotes.

As part of their merchandising expansion, YouTube announced
five new merchandising partners at VidCon.

These include Crowdmade, DFTBA, Fanjoy, Represent and Rooster Teeth.
