Google Site Diversity Change: Another Update is Here!

Google has rolled out the site diversity change in Google Search.

The update follows the most recent June core update.

Some websites reported massive drop in rankings because of that.

What is this new update?

Users often complain about getting too many listings from the same website in top results.

Google took this seriously.

And now Google search results will provide more site diversity.

You will not see more than two listings from the same site in our top results.

Google will consider a listing from a subdomain and the root domain to be from the same site.

However, it would treat subdomains as separate sites for diversity purposes.

Google maintains that the site diversity launch is NOT a part of the June 2019 Core Update.
