The social platform has announced the new rules.
So what changed?
Word Limit
The word limit goes down
from 2,500 to 600.
Each rule describes the
“don’ts” in less than 280 characters.
New Categories
The platform has added new categories-
safety, privacy, and authenticity.
Tweaked Twitter Rule Pages
Twitter’s rule pages will now have more information.
They will include examples and
step-by-step instructions about how to report.
Del Harvey, VP, Trust and Safety, @Twitter says:
“Everyone who uses Twitter should be able to easily understand
what is and is not allowed on the service.”
