Curious about the SpaceX Starship commercial flight?
The wait is almost over as Elon Musk is all set to
launch the Starship by 2021.
VP (Commercial Sales) @SpaceX, Jonathan Hofeller said that
they are talking to three telecom companies about selecting
the first mission aboard the new spacecraft.
Elon Musk had earlier mentioned that the
Moon circuit space trip will start in 2023.
Do you know who is their first paying tourist customer?
Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa.
The multi-talented Japanese entrepreneur has
even created a space-inspired art project called #dearMoon.
Here is a glimpse of the Project:
Maezawa is the founder of Japan’s largest online fashion mall, Zozotown.
The man who started his entrepreneurial journey selling CDs
and music records paid $110.5 million for Jean-Michel Basquiat’s
1982 painting “Untitled.”
With those numbers,
it is evident that Mr. Musk will be getting a fat check from his first customer.
While Musk’s dream has been to reach the stars,
he is also focusing on earth-to-earth transportation.
A commercial airline takes over 10 hours
to fly from Los Angeles to London.
The SpaceX Starship commercial flight
will cover this distance in 32 minutes!
