The video is the brainchild of
artists Bill Posters and Daniel Howe and advertising company Canny.

What’s hilarious is that the video has the caption:

We’re increasing transparency on ads.

In the video, Mark says:

Imagine this for a second: One man, with total control of
billions of people’s stolen data, all their secrets, their lives,
their futures….
I owe it all to Spectre. Spectre showed me that
whoever controls the data, controls the future.

The artist duo and the marketing company does not stop there.

Their Instagram has deep fake videos of Kim Kardashian and others.

Recently, a fake Facebook video of
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has become viral.

Facebook’s director of public policy, Neil Potts,
had maintained that if someone posted a fake video of Mark,
they would not take it off.

Omer Ben-Ami and Jonathan Heimann (Canny)
talked about
algorithms developed by
University of Washington researchers that can turn audio clips
of people speaking into realistic videos.

How did they create the Deepfake Video of Mark Zuckerberg?

The engineers at Canny clipped a
21-second segment out of an original 7-minute video.

They trained the algorithm on this clip
as well as videos of the voice actor speaking.

Finally, they reconstructed the frames in Zuckerberg’s video
to match the facial movements of the voice actor.
